Water Quality and Sanitation

The Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) was established in 1985. Its mission (approved by the National Executive Council on 22 August 1989) is to ensure natural and physical resources are managed to sustain environmental quality and human well-being.

The University of Papua New Guinea is a Premier University established in 1965. It is located Main Campus, Waigani, National Capital District, Medical Campus, Taurama, National Capital District and Open College Campuses, 20 of the 21 Provinces of Papua New Guinea
